Configurably winding, seamless seating and acoustic lighting from Green Furniture can be found places like airport terminals, retail facilities, railway, bus & ferry terminals all around the world. The production for the European markets takes place in southern Sweden, and in Montreal for the US market. The furniture range and the volumes are growing, and it is time to refine methods and create new furniture for large volumes.
Dina arbetsuppgifterIn the role as mechanical engineer and project manager at Green Furniture you are responsible for the construction of new products, improvements and production adjustments of existing products. In this key position you are on top of development projects from A to Z, while also pushing our development process. Your work involves both new construction and optimizing existing products, in collaboration with designers and suppliers. You will work hands on, while also taking help from internal and/or external members of the Green Team. We expect that you can keep several projects running, on target with your initiatives and self-management. In this wonderful entrepreneurial spirit, you get the opportunity to create furniture that is produced both sustainably and in large volumes. You work closely with subcontractors and manufacturers and thrive in social contexts where you discuss and drive development and production forward. As Green Furniture develops, there are also great development opportunities for you as an individual.
Kvalifikationer• Engineering education, mechanical engineering at university level or similar
• At least 5 years experience in product development, design and production, preferably from the manufacturing industry
• Experience of volume production
• Experience of project management and good practice from efficient development processes
• Good experience of mechanical design in 3D CAD systems, SolidWorks or similar
• Experience from electrical components (meritorious)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, orally and in writing

This position is a recruitment which means that the recruitmentprocess is handled by Bravura but your employment will be directly at Green Furniture Concept.
