hela Sverige The "Senior GAE" has the principal task to verify and secure the Virtual builds (DMU, digital muck up) complete driveline deliveries in front of each test activities as well internal VPT as to our customers.
You will have the opportunity to directly be involved in the PE engine and driveline projects. This will give you the chance to see the entire development process until the start of production. Since you will function as the "builder" and coordinator of the Virtual prototype, you will work to verify and secure the virtual deliveries in front of the test in time with expected quality.
In this role you will work on a global basis and have close co-operation with the project management team. You will have the chance to contribute to the improvement of processes, working methods and tools. Another important area is to develop PE quality on the driveline prototype deliveries.
Main responsibilities:
• Give input to the new part release plan
• Give prerequisites to Designers, Product Documentation, Order to Delivery and other stakeholders
• Lead and coordinate cross functional teams in Virtual "build" reviews
• Build, verify and deliver the Virtual prototype (DMU) in front of the tests according to the test plan, agreed within the projects
• Give proposals and recommend direction decision in order to secure the virtual verification deliveries in order to keeping the test plan
• Continuously inform product management team about status and progress forward
Qualifications:
• Mechanical engineer education (MSc)
• 4 years of experience within product development process
• Driveline and installation knowledge
• Good CAD knowledge and experance
• Experience of working in KOLA, PDM system and Protus
• Good knowledge in Windows Office package
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
