FOSS in Höganäs has a vacant position in R&D for a Mechanical Engineer. You will work in a project driven organization with mechanical design in our future analytical instruments.
The Job
The tasks are varied and demand multiple skills both theoretical and practical. You and your future colleagues develop everything from mechanical parts, integrated electronics, optics, and software. In order to secure top performance and stay in the lead we must have a clear focus and dedication to the performance of the whole system. That includes working with the latest technologies in all related fields and to collaborate with external partners when needed. The job will be very free and we greatly encourage own initiatives and drive.
Qualifications
You hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and have minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design. You have experience with the CAD tool Inventor. Experience with DFM/DFA will be considered of great importance. A passionate interest in simulation in ANSYS and CFDesign will be considered an advantage, but not mandatory.
You are extrovert and enjoy working in a lively, cross-functional environment. You are innovative, result-oriented and focused on delivering - even under pressure. Your motto is "think outside the box".
