Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of telecom, IoT, automotive and online solutions. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.
• *** Mechanical Engineer
Your main responsibility will be as a Mechanical designer working with finding and developing solutions for components for the automotive industry. All the work is done in an Agile way, working in a scrum team closely together with the Product Owner and the scrum Master. You want you to have several years of experience from working with component design and are well versed in working with templates and design in concept phases. You will contribute to the team 's development regarding feature templates, 3DPMI and other improvements which enhance the competence in the team.
Daily responsibilities:
• Lead the work in finding new solutions to use in new or existing vehicle projects
• Keep contact with purchasing and EDS project responsible regarding timings and technical updates
• Keep contact with suppliers
• Responsible for BOM/CAD, MIP, Surface material, MCI/MTC.
As an engineer for components you will develop a vast competence in plastic and sheet metal design and also knowledge in the growing technical area for autonomous and hybrid vehicles. You will get the opportunity to work with new solutions and gain a large network of people from different countries and suppliers.
Required competence:
• University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Catia V5 experience
• Teamcenter experience
• Good communication skills
• The ability to cooperate and work within a team
• Structured with high analytical skills
Meritorious competence:
• KDP work experience
• Driver's license
Start: asap.
Duration: 12-24 months on site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a longterm employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden including registered partner and children. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden.
For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.
