We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a team developing customized truck solutions based on specific customer requirements. In this role, you will use the Scania modular system and product structure to create high-quality solutions while balancing technical requirements, lead times, and customer expectations.
You will:
Develop customized truck solutions based on customer needs.
Work with both existing adaptations and new technical concepts.
Deliver solutions according to the S-order development process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deliveries.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the development team, you will be involved throughout the design process, from technical investigations to final implementation. The role requires close cooperation with engineers and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
Designing and developing customized truck configurations.
Creating engineering solutions using the Scania modular system.
Investigating and evaluating new customer requests.
Supporting implementation of new vehicle adaptations.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and development processes.
Working closely with colleagues to achieve project objectives.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a technically skilled and proactive engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges and working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.
Experience from Scania R&D.
Experience working in Catia.
Experience working in OAS.
Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience within customized vehicle development and knowledge of Scania's products and systems are highly valued.
Meritorious experience includes:
Engineering degree or equivalent.
S-order development experience.
Knowledge of Scania products.
Understanding of the Scania modular system.
Experience writing conditions in the Scania structure.
Swedish language skills.
