About the departments:
Customer Applications:
As part of this department, you will focus on mechanical design with a strong emphasis on adapting our existing products to meet the specific needs of our customers. You support our technical sales team and play a key role in developing new concepts and solutions.
This team manage several short-term projects, which requires a strong ability to multitask and maintain close and effective communication with customers. Collaboration is an important part of the position, as you will work closely with international partners, component suppliers, and customers. You will be responsible for customer specific adaptation of PowerCell products. Experience within the aviation industry is highly beneficial, as many of our projects are within this sector.
Engineering:
In contrast, the Engineering department focuses on long-term projects centered around the development of our fuel cell systems and stacks. The work is more structured, with a strong emphasis on meeting industry standards through detailed product specifications, implementation, verification, and testing.
The team plays a crucial role in the certification process, contributing throughout the entire lifecycle. We also collaborate closely with the production team to ensure a smooth transition to manufacturing. As such, the Engineering departmentbridges product development and production, ensuring that our products are safe, robust, certified, and ready for the market on time.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks, from developing technical documentation and certification plans to conducting detailed mechanical drawings and hands-on work during testing phases. You will be involved in cross-functional meetings, participate in design reviews, and provide technical feedback for continuous improvements. No two weeks will be the same..
About the role:
You will focus on the design of structural components and enclosure for the development of a safe and compliant fuel cell system product. Design will result in various types of drawings that should be fully specified and used relevant GD&T for chosen material and manufacturing process.
It is important that you are curious and interested in the green transition and PowerCell's fuel cell technology.
Preferred background:
BC in mechanical, industrial, design technology or equivalent.
Extensive experience 3D CAD from at least one of the following fields: Sheet metal design, design for assembly, routing of piping and cable.
Fluent Swedish and/or English spoken and written.
Beneficial experience:
2-5 years relevant work experience.
Catia V5/3DX.
Structural calculation.
Fuel cell technology.
Personal qualities:
You have a strong drive and will to achieve progress.
Communicative and capable of documenting designs and work in an organized way.
Eager to keep learning and developing.
Focused on creating value.
