Randstad Engineering are now looking for Mechanical Engineers for a consultant assignment! As an Engineering Consultant with Randstad Engineering, your primary focus will be to support our client, Husqvarna, in their mission to shape great experiences through cutting-edge technologies and innovative products and services. Here your primary focus will be on the preparation for the implementation of Husqvarna's new PLM system, being at the forefront of making the transition to a success.

Responsibilities
Main focus on work regarding preparation for implementation of Husqvarna's new PLM-system (Next PLM-project). Alongside the main task support the Structure design team with delivery's regarding their design responsibility of the Structure subsystem in projects of next generations battery and petrol chainsaws.
Next PLM-project:
Participation in investigations around how to handle legacy in old PLM-system and work regarding migration of data.
Make assignments from the output of the investigations. Support Structure team:
Working with advanced CAD-models in Catia V5 in and robust way according to Husqvarna Design Methodology.
Make root cause analyses in a structured way.
Perform tolerance calculations.
Qualifications
You have an interest in Product lifecycle management (PLM).
You have good knowledge and solid experience of working PLM-systems preferly SmarTeam and/or TeamCenter.
Experience of having been involved in implementation of a new PLM or/and having worked at Husqvarna Group before with good knowledge of current working way in PLM-system (smarTeam) is an advantage.
You are structured and used to plan your work so that the team together can reach the target.
You have the ability to analytically break down technical problems to find the root cause, to be able to outline the way forward to the best solution to the problem.
You are communicative and find it easy to collaborate.
You have good knowledge in the CAD-system Catia V5.
