Quintus Technologies is looking for a Mechanical Engineer that will take on the role as FSE Lead Engineer.
As the FSE Lead Engineer at Mechanical Engineering, you will have a key role working between the Customer Support organization and the engineering department within Quintus Technologies. The daily work means driving and coordinating an internal team of highly skilled competences with the main focus of implementing technical ideas and improvements to our installed base as well as introducing improvements in our existing product portfolio.
As the FSE Lead Engineer at Quintus Technologies you belong to the Mechanical engineering organization. You report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, Jan-Olof Tunell, who looks forward to welcoming a new member to the team.
Main areas of responsibility
Case ownership, coordinating and making sure that product improvements are handled and solved in a timely manner by the technical support organization
Prioritize and analyze patterns of reported problems in the installed base
Communicating with Customer Support and Product Management in order to have a common understating and focus
Root cause analyze of problems
Propose engineering solutions for improvements and implement these solutions

Your profile and qualifications
You are a true team player who is passionate of technical problem solving. You will take ownership for implementing improvements to the installed base as well as existing product portfolio. You have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience with mechanical engineering. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and Excellent communication and information sharing skills, written and spoken alike
Ability to document information in a structured way
Experience from technical problem solving of heavy industrial equipment
Ability to work, and deliver results, together with a distributed team
Experience from working with case management systems
Experience from working with systems as Siemens NX and Team Center
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and oral. Other language skills are beneficial
Previous experience with high pressure equipment is an advantage.
Industrial experience and a technical background, Aerospace industry is a merit
