hela Sverige For our client, Northvolt, Jefferson Wells is now looking for a Mechanical and/or electrical Prototype Technician.
We are looking for someone who is available immediately.This is a consulting assignment that will initially will extend over 2-3 months, but this could possibly be extended.
Key responsibilities:
* Manufacture prototype electrical components for our battery trials and tests: harnesses and electronics boards are our main needs
* In collaboration with the Quality and Engineering teams, ensure manufactured prototypes are according to standards and specifications.
* Commission and troubleshooting of products with internal customers
* Secure and set up work area, including tools, equipment and a stock of standard components, in collaboration with the manufacturing team, to proceed to the above work
* Build own network of supply partners, with the help of our Supply Chain, to secure quickly components for prototype build
Qualifications/education/experience
* 2+ years in electrical prototype, manufacturing or maintenance context with proven hands-on experience
* Education in electrical or mechanical field (engineering degree not required)
* Experience with electrical schematics preferred
* High voltage training and safety awareness a big plus
* Good English, both written and oral. Swedish is a plus.
* Ability to work independently under time pressure
* Resourceful and creative person to find solutions on the spot
* Attention to details and uncompromising attitude towards quality
* Excellent relationship with engineers
