hela Sverige You will be part of LV Motors in Västerås. We develop, produce and market AC machines with high performance and a wide variation range within the shaft height range 160-250 millimeters. The unit in Västerås has global product responsibility and is part of a business area with production sites in seven different countries. Our vision is to be ?the world?s best supplier of electrical motors?. We are approximately 200 coworkers and produce around 70,000 motors annually. The business area includes several units with responsibility for development, market and production. The product responsibility is shared between separate units where Västerås has responsibility for medium size motors with output power between 10 and 100 kW.
Challenge: At LV Motors, you will work within a highlighted segment under rapid development and with motors that for example are used in pumps, fans, turbines and compressors. You will belong to a team currently consisting of four people and primarily work with mechanical design and drawings. Depending on your previous experience, you will also review drawings of different complexity to quality assure the department?s work. Our customers are machine manufacturers, end customers and distributors, primarily operating on the European market. ABB has construction sites in several parts of the world, which means that you will build a large global network. To be in line with the global organization, we need to develop our work methods and you will have a dominant role in our business development. In this varied position, you will be involved in subprojects and have the opportunity to take on greater responsibilities within the company.
Requirements: You have a Bachelor in Engineering with specialization in Mechanics, alternatively a technical high school diploma and general skills in electrical and mechanical design. It is qualifying if you have worked with mechanical design, 3D modeling and/or project management, preferably as technical project manager focusing on design. In addition, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of AC machines and strength analyses and if you are used to working with IDEAS and NX. If you are recently graduated, you must be familiar with design, strength analyses, 3D modeling and machine elements. You are a social person with initiative and insight in the overall work. It is essential that you handle inquires professionally and businesslike and that you enjoy having a networking role that includes international contacts. To be successful in this position, you must also be responsible, detailed and able to continuously deliver high standard.
