We are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer within Electrical & Electronics
YOUR TEAM

Our mission is to provide electric-powered and fully autonomous vehicles with a connected user interface; a mobility solution for smart and sustainable cities.

The self-driving vehicle Sango is the centerpiece of the system.

You will be part of a team in the Electric & Electronics Hardware Tribe focusing on develop and deliver future Mechanical design solutions for the vehicle. The Tribe is divided into five Chapters, with fields of Physical Electrical Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics, Electrical Energy Storage and Electrical & Electronics (EE) Mechanical Design

You will be part of a creative and inspiring EE Mechanical design team with focus in mechanical development & integration within EE tribe.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Have responsibility for Mechanical integration (packaging & Interface) in the vehicle for all electrical components (eg. ECU, Sensors, actuators, Power Electronics) within EE Tribe
- Be part of the Mechanical Integration forum to represent EE Tribe
- Have responsibility to develop, integrate and validate all needed mechanical components which will be needed to secure robust fastening solutions, from concept to industrialization and implementation in production
- Have experience to create mechanical design into 3D models within Siemens NX
- Have experience to create drawing according to std 2D and GDnT
- Have experience to work in the PLM software, TeamCenter
- Be part of BOM creation for the EE Mechanical Design components
- Establish and improve technical product specifications for EE Mechanical Design components
- Have ability to lead technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development phase
- Support in material development and handling for prototype builds Be part of prototype builds
- Be part of validation and verification against requirements

WHO YOU ARE

- Successfully completed studies in minimum bachelor's degree within Mechanical Electrical Engineering
- Passionate interest in new technologies and concepts
- Experience within Mechanical design solutions (sheet metal, plastics etc.) in the automotive domain
- Experience of Mechanical integration of Electrical & Electronics components
- Knowledgeable within Mechanical design with electronics content
- Knowledgeable within Agile WoW
- Accustomed to write and speak in English
- Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Can legally drive vehicle in Sweden
