We are looking for a person that has true passion for problem resolution for end customer, driving results, and cross-functional work. You should have the personality to act as a change agent, with the will to change and provide new thinking and views on problem resolution. You have a holistic mind-set and naturally understand the connections between different parts of the organization.
The Product Quality department is a specialized department with the focus to solve customer issues and to provide maximum uptime. This means that we consist of a multi competence team that performs technical investigations of issues that occurs in the field and develops the technical solutions as well as execute implementation.
As Mechanical Design Engineer for Product Quality, you lead the investigation work independently to correct and improve product quality in a fast and customer focused way. You also secures the implementation and execution of developed solutions. You will coordinate and lead root cause analysis and investigations mainly on diagnostic errors. Occasional travel to end customers to investigate issues, visits to suppliers or factories can occur.

You have experience from different transmission systems, e.g automotive applications. You have performed design work of several parts in transmissions like clutches, gears, casted and machined parts, hydraulics. You are familiar and experienced user of tools such as Creo/ProE or similar, as well as MS Office. You can easily apply your experience in how to solve problems in different applications like both industrial and marine environments. Previous experience from Volvo Group products or tools is a plus.
Since the job consists of an extensive net of contacts both internally and externally, your networking skills should be very good and prioritized.

Your CV should contain listed qualifications in academic degrees, project management experience, very good skills in English and Swedish, Swedish driver license.
