Publiceringsdatum2007-10-01ArbetsuppgifterAs a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be an important member of our team and participate in various tasks within the design and maintenance of mechanics for radio base stations. The role lets you participate in projects and studies, as well as integrated product development projects together with other departments.
The role will offer you many opportunities to grow, both within the field of engineering and as a professional, and we don't regard it as a disadvantage if you picture yourself as a future leader within our unit and Ericsson.
Some of your responsibilities will be performed individually, but most of them will include frequent interactions with other persons and competence areas.
ErfarenhetWe are looking for a creative engineer with leadership skills and an interest in efficient mechanical design solutions. You combine creativity, drive and a sense of focus with people management skills and have a track record that shows us that your eagerness to contribute never lets you compromise your respect for others and good team work.
You have a bachelor or master degree within mechanical design engineer, and a good general knowledge of the area and of manufacturing methods.
Your assignments will let you cooperate with experts in environmental aspects (thermal, structure, corrosion, EMC), an area in which you have an understanding of. You have high knowledge in an MCAD tool, preferably Pro/ENGINEER. You are a good communicator who can express yourself in English, both orally and in writing, and you are an experienced user of MS Office applications.

The unit Mechanical Design is responsible for mechanical solutions for radio base stations and antennas for GSM, WCDMA and future standards. The unit is one of five units within the Enclosure department. This position is based at our site at Lindholmen in Gothenburg, Sweden.
