hela Sverige As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in traction inverters and DC/DC converters, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and optimizing these advanced power electronics components for our BEV trucks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers, to ensure the successful integration and performance of these power electronics components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD based design, experience in the automotive industry, and a passion for clean energy technologies
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize CATIA to create detailed mechanical designs for traction inverters and DC/DC converters.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure the optimal design for our requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototypes to optimize designs.
• Perform design validation and testing to meet performance and safety standards.
• Maintain documentation and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Master or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CATIA CAD software or similar.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
• Experience in electric vehicle or power electronics design is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for sustainable technology.
