Position Description
Driveline Systems at Volvo CE is the core center within Volvo CE for Driveline development and are responsible for developing transmissions, brakes and wheel axles for Volvo CE.

To department Product Improvement within Driveline Systems we are looking for talented persons to strengthen the capacity and competence.
Department Product Improvement supply product maintenance and cost ratio projects with competence and technical solutions to continuously improve our products. We offer a challenging and exciting assignment in a global environment with good potential for personal and career development.
Your responsibilities as a design engineer will be to develop 3D-modells and production documents in close cooperation with production, purchasing and sub suppliers. You will also be responsible for assuring that design and quality targets are met.
Qualifications
B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge of quality tools and processes, FMEA, DMAIC is positive
Driveline Design experience is positive
Experience of 3D CAD design and development in Catia v5 is an advantage
Personal Qualifications
Good communication and documentation skills
High level of integrity and quality mindset
Target and result oriented
Self going and be able to take initiative
Ability to work and perform in cross-functional project teams, both inside and outside the company
Good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
