Our customer, Epiroc is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer/ Cad designer. You will be employed by us at Jefferson Wells and then be hired as a consultant. Job description:
In the role as a mechanical design engineer, you will be working with ongoing development projects and continuous development work. You need to be able to understand, execute and deliver results according to specified needs. You will also be working with concept development and realization, 3D CAD design and modelling, drawings and products specifications etc.
Requirements:
This role is suitable for you who have experience of machine design, machine element dimensioning such as screw and weld attachments. Furthermore, you need skills in weld technology, manufacturing methods and materials since these are common areas of the development work. You need to be skilled in 3D CAD design and preferably have worked in
the design tool, Creo. Teamcenter experience and knowledge related to Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS - ISO 8015) is also preferable. You also need to be good in English since this is the language for reports and communications.
In order to succeed and enjoy the challenges you must have a general technical interest, be responsible and able to take initiative. A structured and analytical approach to the work will be essential. Furthermore, teamwork and collaboration are keys to success.
