We are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with an ambition to, in the future, take on further responsibilities such as discipline lead in our delivery projects. Would you like to join us?
Purpose of the job:
Engineering tasks in local and international projects
Key responsibilities and tasks:
Perform mechanical design in sales and implementation projects.
Plan and implement own discipline work
Ensure quality of own work.
Work individually or in mechanical engineering teams in solution and equipment projects
Contribute to a positive and supportive working attitude within the department team.
Participate in R&D activities
To succeed, you will need:
B. Sc or M. Sc in engineering or Secondary education and professional experience from mechanical design
Strong team player approach
Pro-active and self-driven working attitude
Technology oriented mindset with structured working style
Capability to work under pressure
Fluent spoken and written communication skills in Swedish and English
Good knowledge in SolidWorks
Other success factors:
Knowledge in and/or experience from mechanical design
Knowledge about and interest in Outotec products and the mining and smelting industry in general.
