hela Sverige We have a great opportunity to offer a shot at a challenging assignment at one of our interesting and important customers.
The tasks shall include but not limited to:
• Design machine parts and components by means of CAD software
• Participate directly in the system assembly, machine installation and relevant operations:
• Activities and work can take place both in experimental underground areas (accelerator tunnel) and on surface assembly halls (laboratories).
• Generate and update conceptual, draft, detailed and manufacturing 2D drawings (and 3D models) in CATIA
• Generate 2D design from 3D input
• Generate 3D model from 2D input
• Generate 2D and 3D from Requirements input
• Generation and updates of conceptual, draft, detailed and manufacturing 2D drawings (and 3D models) in CATIA V6
• Generate, maintain and update 2D drawings in CATIA environment
• Able to assess responsibility of the so-called "design package" (dedicated design projects to be completed in a specified amount of time)
• Take responsibility for the design, evolution and support of hardware designs in various key components of the machine components
• Follow-up manufacturing of components, monitor production performance and conduct engineering quality and acceptance inspections
• Document and present your work as appropriate
• Reviewer responsibility in the Mechanical Engineering discipline, drawings and engineering packages
• Lead mechanical engineering review parts of CDRs or other relevant machine reviews of the sub-projects
• Review 2D drawing according to mechanical standardization norms and codes for but not limited to GPS tolerancing, ISO, etc.
Required education background and professional experience
• Higher Technical or University engineering degree in mechanical engineering or other closely equivalent engineering degree
• Knowledge of basic engineering in related disciplines (i.e. civil, electrical etc.)
• Minimum 5 years of CAD mechanical design engineering experience
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in CATIA design
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and its application to production drawings
• Experience and knowledge of technical documentation and configuration management will be an asset.
• Showing initiative: Demonstrate selfmotivation is essential.
• Managing self: working well autonomously; taking on activities and tasks without prompting; projecting self-confidence when presenting ideas, proposals and opinions.
• Following orders: Communicating effectively with the goal to understand and follow orders, propose technical solutions at the direction set from management
• Working in teams: understanding when teamwork is required to achieve the best results; including others accordingly and sharing information; building and maintaining constructive and effective work relationships
