For this role we are looking for someone with a genuine passion for engineering the best vehicles in the world. You will be working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company, leading the way in the hypercar business. You'll work alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.

As a mechanical design engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of robust, proven, and reliable products utilizing the latest automotive technologies. You will work will the whole vehicle and collaborate with cross functionally project managers, system engineering groups, technical preparation and manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

- Generate 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using Catia V5/V6.
- Generate package models
- Generate and update Bill of material
- Support of release of product into production (Smarteam/3DX)
- Work closely with production, aftermarket, prototype, quality, electrical, as well as CAE, and homologation department
- Organize and carry out tests to verify component function and requirement
- Ensure that product meet compliance regulations
- Technical support leading to successful introduction into production
- Interaction with suppliers and technology providers

Need to have

- YH or BSc in Mechanical Engineering. MSc preferred
- Design experience with CATIA V5
- Knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience with assembling, multi-model links, design in context
- Experience with detail drafting and modeling
- Experience with PLM system
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of prototyping, production technologies, and validation procedures
- Professional level of English

Meritorious

- R&D Experience in development and prototyping
- Experience with design of sheet metal and machining parts
- Experience with plastic injection technology and tool design
- Experience with 3DX PLM and Catia V6
- Understanding of technical concepts and federal safety standards and laws is advantageous
- Experience in automotive
- Understanding of ERP system
