Job Description:
The Mechanical Assembly Engineer will be responsible for assembling and integrating mechanical systems for automation lines, particularly in the context of lithium battery module production. This role requires a strong background in mechanical assembly, system integration, and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Assembly: Assemble mechanical components and systems for battery module production lines, including conveyors, frames, and other automation equipment.
System Integration: Work closely with electrical and automation engineers to integrate mechanical systems with electrical control systems, ensuring proper functionality of the entire automation system.
Assembly Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues during the assembly process, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize the mechanical assembly processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, automation specialists, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.
Quality Assurance: Perform final assembly checks and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Documentation Reporting: Maintain detailed records of assembly procedures, technical drawings, and installation reports. Provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements.
Requirements:
College degree, or other relevant technical education alternatively a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in automated manufacturing, or battery production systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, including welding, bolting, and the use of precision tools and equipment.
Familiarity with system integration and the ability to work alongside electrical and automation engineers to complete projects.
Ability to adjust or calibrate the precision of the machine bed, ensuring that it is aligned and operating within the required specifications..
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site.
Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in mechanical assembly.
Basic knowledge of English. Knowledge of Mandarin and Swedish is a plus
