Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will work in a relatively small organization that sells, develops, adapts designers to customer specifications, manufactures and delivers motors for on rail and off-road vehicles. Our and your challenges are to optimize our designs to be competitive in the market with high focus on quality.

Your responsibilities
Expert in mechanical strength analysis and in addition vibration analysis.
Guide our design engineers with regard to strength issues.
Ensure the mechanical integrity for customer adaptation within the Engineering To Order process (ETO), in new development (R&D) and in after sales cases.

Your background
Minimum 3 years of experience in FEA analysis, mechanical integrity (static, dynamic), vibration, castings, rotors, welded.
Experience from analysis of rotating machines, structures (EN15085), bolt joints etc.
Method and tools knowledge, e.g. Ansys.
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity to learn about new technologies, out-of-the-box thinking and a problem-solving attitude.
Collaborative and strong communication skills.
Experience in evaluating welded designs, including knowledge of EN 15085, experience from rail business, and airflow/fluid analysis (e.g. pressure drop calc. fan dimensioning), are good to have.
