We are looking for a person with senior knowledge and experience in measurement test who aim to be part of a creative and multi-cultural work environment, with the mission to explore new concepts and technologies, do not hesitate and apply now!
The position
As a Measurement Test & Technology Engineer, you will support the organization by adding your expertise and knowledge in research, design, development, build, and test of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices.
You will be part of the Mechatronic Verification & Measurement Technology group, where we build knowledge by testing and secure the quality of our products with the world as our test track.
The team is part of the Feature Verification and Validation department within Platform Development. You will be surrounded by very skilled colleagues in a working environment where we help each other towards common success. We always strive for customer success, with a solid base in trust for each other and a passion that drives us to perform and make a change.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position we think that you are enthusiastic and creative to propose new designs and solutions with focus on details. You have good communication skills and like to support you colleagues and other parts of the organization in solving problems.
Required Skills
BSc, MSc or PhD in e.g. Electronics, Physics or equivalent experience
Expertise in vehicle data bus communication, i.e. CAN/LIN
Experience with lab equipment, like oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills
Skilled in welding, milling, lathing and soldering
Experience in computer aided system design
Experience in heavy vehicle components and systems and knowledge of powertrain systems engineering principles
Good English skills both verbally and in writing
Meritorious skills:
Genuine interest in programming and skills in C/C++.
System knowledge about ECU application work and engine control.
Automotive industry understanding
