We are looking for a consultant for a six month assignment, for one of our customers.
The customer is a leading provider of connectivity solutions for data networking, storage and computing equipment manufacturers. The Järfalla facility has individuals on-site including operations and research & development teams. You will be part of the Fiber Optics division which is developing industry-leading products.
The Datacomm business unit is a leading provider of connectivity solutions for data networking, storage and computing equipment manufacturers. The Jarfalla facility has [70] individuals on-site including operations and research & development teams. It is a critical piece of Datacomm's Fiber Optics business strategy and is dramatically increasing its output while developing industry-leading products. The position will be based in Jarfalla, Sweden, which is ~20km from Stockholm.
Measurement technician
Tasks
• Electro-optical measurements and test preparations - FW upload, calibrations
• Perform routine HF measurement
• Perform routine qualification tests and associated pre-programming and DC testing
• Assist with die life-test logistics - securing die, sample builds, planning
• Maintain module logistics and tracking in evaluation - keeping module bank, labeling, packing, shipping, receiving and tracking issues
Qualifications
• Technician, high-school graduate
• 2-10 years of experience with hands-on electrical or optical measurements, preferably with HF testing
• Familiar with laboratory work and instrumentation
• Good knowledge of Excel and basic calculations
• Systematic and organized
• Independent and used to resolving practical problems
• Fluent in English and Swedish
