Do you want to start your career within the field of quality? Then we have the ideal position for you! Due to new product launches we are expanding our Quality department in Hillerstorp with a Measurement Technician.
As a Measurement Technician your main task is to support the operations team with advanced measuring of components, prototypes and fixtures by using CMM - measuring machine, optical measuring machine, profile projector and measuring tools. In the role you will get the opportunity to evaluate our measuring methods by performing regular MSA - measurement system analysis - and through that develop and improve our working methods. In this role you will work in close collaboration with the operations team, machine operators, and R&D project team members. For the right candidate, and after proven success, there will opportunities to grow into a more specialized role within our Quality department.

Your profile:
The ideal candidate for this position has a positive and proactive approach and strong self-drive. Your ability to keep a strong attention to detail while at the same time maintaining and overview and prioritize between multiple task will be key to you success. You have an academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, alternatively a YH/KY degree within the relevant field. Good metrological understanding from either education or previous work, preferably with experience in CMM, optical measuring machines and calibration. Experience from Statistical Process Control, SPC, blueprint reading or experience from Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is a strong advantage.
