Measurement Engineer
Working with Maintenance, Investments & Metrology means that you establish and develop relationships with test engineers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the technology within those areas. We provide metrology expertise, lending of instrumentation, design and service of development tools for testing departments
Measurement and Development Tools is the owner of all measurement tools at R&D. Our responsibility is to ensure that our customers are equipped with right tools and supported by our high metrological expertise. One of our new responsibilities is to support in Autonomous Driving.
The group today includes 20 persons.
As a Measurement Engineer your tasks will contain of building and maintaining a wide personal network both within R&D as well as with our suppliers. You are able to form your deliveries and to develop your skills, both technically as well as in the area of metrology. As part of our team, you'll get access to long term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field, where you'll have a strong direct influence on customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities
You will support measurement tools, develop methods concerning development tools and be a member of tool groups. You will share your knowledge and educate our customers from R&D, Zenuity as well as members of the group.
The right candidate will propose solutions as well as bring support to define needs connected to the future plans of Volvo Cars in the growing area Autonomous Drive. You'll work close to experienced engineers.
Required:
* B.Sc. grade within electronics, metrology or a similar education
* Experience from tools like INCA, CAN, LIN, Flexray, Dewesoft
* Work experience from Automotive industry
* Experience or studies from technology around Autonomous Drive
You are fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English and hold a Driver 's license B

You are used to cooperate and communicate with different people in different roles, and you also have a flexible and business oriented mind set.
