Position description
As a Measurement Engineer you will be working as a support to our global testing functions within Features, Verification & Validation (FVV). Working closely within a small team of experts to make sure all requests from customers can be planned and delivered in time to ensure project success. The role involves all steps from concept stages, to installation of equipment and data acquisition. You will have daily contact with the test leaders and engineers to ensure we deliver the test data requested. The work includes occasionally offsite installations/fault tracing in trucks on other sites.
To ensure that we have the best tools available for all measurement needs we are working closely with our suppliers in projects to update equipment. The team coordinates systems and tools for best usage with teams on other sites globally: Lyon, Greensboro, Bangalore and Curitiba. The team is also involved in different kinds of investigations and test-to-learn activities, as well as education and development of new methods within the measurement area
Main responsibilities
• Assist our customers with measurement expertise (sensors, systems & methods)
• Assist development projects with logging related activities and other test
• Manage our mobile measurement systems, working with maintenance and quality items related to our products together with our suppliers.
• Preparing and Installation of our mobile measurement systems in vehicle and rigs
• Participate in testing and verification of processes/products (software/hardware) in different environments such as test beds, proving ground or customer trucks

Requirements
• University Degree in Engineering or equivalence
• Fluent in both English and Swedish, spoken and written
• Experience of measurement technique, communication, sensors and measurement systems
• Experience of field vehicle buses like CAN, LIN, J1587 is a merit
• Experience of data analysis and software development is a merit
