We are now looking for a Measurement Engineer to our Robotics & Discrete Automation business. Reporting to the Product Quality Manager, your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities
Being responsible for quality controls on materials, ensuring that they meet ABB's requirements through measurement technology knowledge, use and programing of our measuring equipment CMM
Working continuously with control of outcome samples
Calibrating equipment and tools
Supporting other functions such as production, Quality, R&D and Projects with measurements on materials so that they meet ABB's requirements

Your background
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of working experience from a similar role
Technical competence to understand mechanical components quality challenges and applicable quality methods to secure the material from suppliers
Knowledge about mechanical components, motors and gears
Experience in Quindos, PC-DMIS och Calypso are meriting
Preferably familiar with drawing reading and proficient with CAD and SolidWorks
A self-starter with good analytical ability and passion for challenging missions
Independent worker with collaborative, hands-on mentality
Fluent in Swedish and English
