Axis is now looking for a Measurement Engineer positioned in our Mechanical Design department within the Research & Development organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In this role you will join the mechanical design department and your main tasks will be to measure and control mechanical components and sub-systems, support and improve measuring activities at suppliers and manufacturing sites and support the development projects in drawing reviews.
Mechanical development at Axis is done in close collaboration with teams within electronics and software as well as teams outside of R&D, enabling you to grow and learn continuously both from within Axis and in your frequent contacts with suppliers and manufacturers.
Axis and the network video business are growing rapidly which makes your every day at work here increasingly interesting – and more challenging.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an open minded and driven individual willing to share ideas, knowledge and experience on a daily basis to further develop our creative and open environment. Hence, good communication skills and an easygoing attitude are vital. A proven ability to think outside the box and find new ways to solve well defined problems will also be a great asset in your daily work.
We believe you have at least five years of relevant experience within measurement of components and measurement equipment and jigs. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, are essential skills.
