Position description:
As a consultant you will represent BIW area in model year update projects and running change investigations. If applicable, lead request and lead ME simulation, joining or other additional resources and act as ME responder for PCR's.
Establish and maintain running change network by staying in close contact with local ME/IE representatives in all Lynk & Co, Geely or Volvo plants worldwide. Host recurring JMT meetings.
Maintain/update area documentation affected by changes: TCe process structure, 2D & 3D clamping, PII's , POPS. Report BGK and DPA5 status for new and/or heavily modified parts.
Responsibilities
• Represent defined BIW area in model year update projects and running change investigations.
• Report to ME Unit Project Leader running changes and ME UPL for the assigned model year update project.
• If applicable, lead ME project team in projects needing additional resources.
• Establish and maintain running change network by staying in close contact with local ME/IE representatives in all Lynk & Co plants. Host recurring JMT meetings.
• Act as ME responder for PCR's affecting the defined area of responsibility.
• Initiate access simulation and factory process investigations when needed.
• Maintain/update TCe process structure
• Update/Maintain PII's and/or spot-weld sequences in accordance with agreed update process.
• Create/update POPS for model year update projects.
• Report BGK status for new and/or heavily modified parts.
• Report DPA5 status for projects with process impact.
• Update/maintain 2D & 3D clamping.

• BGK document.

• PII's and/or spotweld sequence.
• 2D/3D clamping
Skills and required experience:
Requirements:
A degree as a certified engineer in mechanical/production engineering, automotive process engineering or industrial engineering. Minimum of 3 years' experience from any relevant area.
Software and IT:
Teamcenter (advanced preferably), Catia (basic), Excel (macros).
Personal attributes: Ability to structure and follow up his/her own work, excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, especially Asian.
