hela Sverige Modis Sweden is looking for a MCR Technician to EBMS- Ericsson Broadcast Media Services.
As MCR Technician at EBMS Sweden you will work primarily with sports, live entertainment shows and news content for Sweden 's largest commercial TV channels and paid TV channels.
MCR is the signal hub of EBMS and handles all video and intercom signals to and from control rooms, playouts and outside broadcasts (OB). MCR use satellite down and uplink as well as fiber and broadcast equipment over internet. MCR normally responds to bookings, but news can come unexpected and therefore MCR can be a very dynamic workplace.
You will be part of a strong team of skilled MCR personnel, but must be willing to work independently and take own decisions on short notice as many of our broadcasts are live. Your responsibilities will include overall quality and output, continuous competence development, and making sure our customers ' needs are being met. You will be working irregularly, 33 hours/week, evenings and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience from TV broadcast industry
• Understanding of Satellite and fiber technology
• Excellent Swedish & good English language skills in both writing and conversation.
• Customer oriented
