McKinsey's Scandinavian R&I department is looking for a Jr Research Analyst for the Stockholm office. The SC R&I handles research- and information-related requests on a non specific industry- or function focus. There is about 30 similar research units globally and the SC R&I unit today consists of five people.
As part of SC R&I, you will develop a strategic perspective while gaining a deep understanding on how leading institutions function. Working with a team of highly talented and committed people, you will be exposed to a variety of industries and functional topics, enhance your analytical and leadership skills, and apply your mind to the issues that count. As a Jr Research Analyst, you will collect, analyze, and synthesize trends and insights to help consulting teams solve client-specific problems. Moreover, you will work on McKinsey proprietary research projects to broaden the firm's functional and industry knowledge. This will include developing and updating market-, and company analysis. Based in our Stockholm Office, you will work with international teams and answer enquiries from around the globe. You will also have an opportunity to pursue short-term transfers to other European offices.
Profile of ideal candidates
• Master of Science degree in business/economics with distinct performance
• Recent graduate with up to two years of work experience
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Professional attitude and service mindedness
• Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities
• Eagerness to take on responsibility
• Proficiency in English and in one Scandinavian language
