Boss Media is one of the world's leading independent software providers of complete online gaming solutions within poker, bingo, casino, payments and gaming management systems.
Boss Media, Finsoft (leading sportsbook sw provider), St Minver (leading full service and white label provider) and Dynamite Idea (Online interactive betting games) are all part of the New Media & Sports Betting Co (NMSBCO), owned by the GTECH Group. Together the companies within NMSBC form a complete online gaming solutions provider.
Boss Media has built the new Gaming Platform and the Game Developers Kit (GDK). GDK is a framework consisting of guidelines and API's that can be used internally by Boss Media Game Developers as well as externally by 3rd party game developers.
Boss Media is now in a position to aggressively scale up the game development, both for our well renowned download game clients as well as our new instant flash game clients, in terms of producing new and innovative games. The different type of games that Boss Media is developing are casino games (table games, dice games and slot machines including bonus games), bingo games, scratch cards, probability games, lottery games (pre drawn and instant), mini games within bingo games, side games, bonus games and much more.
Each game has a desired payout that needs to be mathematically calculated and later also verified. Basically we talk about doing the math for the games. Therefore, we are now strengthening our math resources by recruiting a mathematician.
Responsibilities:
• When needed, assist in determining the game logic for the games
• Do the math for the games
• Secure and be responsible for the payout verification of each new game that is being developed
• Assist in working out new concepts together with the concept designers and game developers
• When time allows also assist business developers, managers and marketing department with more advance statistical math
• When time allows also assist and participate in other development projects in the other companies (E.g Finsoft, St Minver & Dynamite Idea) in the NMSBC group.
Competence profile:
• At least 80 university points in mathematics
• In-dept understanding of probability theory/statistics
• Good written and verbal English.
• A good understanding of money gaming and the different game types
• A very good understanding of and experience in excel.
• It's not required but it's an advantage if the candidate also knows some basic programming like Java or JavaScript

• The successful candidate has to be a good problem solver with personal strong drive, who will take personal responsibility for his/her tasks and can communicate with people from other cultures.
• Open-minded and flexible in combination with personal authority and integrity in conveying confidence and trust.
• Able to work and develop ideas independently
• Be able to help out where needed
