Our mission is to utilize our expertise in materials technology to support all BA/BU of the Volvo group.
Our fields of expertise are polymers, fluid analysis, surface treatment, corrosion, physico chemical analysis.
We are a group of 16 experts mainly located in Lyon site (France)
Our ambition is to develop significantly our activities with all sites and BA/BU.
In order to strengthen our collaboration with our partners in Sweden, corporate function materials technology is looking for engineer or phd expert in materials technology.
The objective for this new position is to develop the corporate materials technology activities for site sweden and create the bridge in between site Sweden and the other experts located in France.
The mission is to:
create the network with site Sweden BA/BU partners and be the local speaking partners
lead some advanced engineering, expertise or material verification/validation project
contribute to development of materials technology roamaps and strategies
cordinate site Sweden materials technology activities with support of site France
work with external partners to perform materials testing
support sales&marketing plan to develop activities in Sweden
Experience & qualification
Masters degree or phd in chemistery, materials technology
Your technical background is:
Materials expertise
Materials testing
Research
You have a good general knowledge on materials technology.
Experience in polymers is a plus.
You are customer and business oriented
Fluent in English, Swedish is appreciated
You have an experience of 3 years if possible in the automotive industry.
