This is a long-term assignment with possibilities to be employed by our customer Candela Technology AB.
Candela's ultimate purpose is to speed up the transition to fossil fuel-free lakes and Oceans. By combining sensors, computer and advanced submerged hydrofoils, our electric craft fly above the water, reaching speeds and range previously attained only by fossil fuel powerboats.
Your main task for this position are:
• Schedule the supply of material/components to meet production requirements
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery
• Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries
• Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels
Your work will include several internal collaborations with the purchasing, production, and logistic department.
Candela offers you an eventful workplace with high interaction between different departments, a broad variety of nationalities and as the company is young you will quickly become an important player in the company..

Your background
The person we are looking for has an academic education within logistics, purchasing, production or similar. We think two to four years of relevant experience from similar work is adequate. Competence in Excel and MRP systems is important.
Language: Excellent English written, reading and oral skills, Swedish is a plus.

As a person, you are assertive, plan your time well and see what needs to be done. Works in a systematic, methodical, reliable way and performs the work with high quality. You are meticulous, positive, follow instructions and consider yourself great at collaborating with several different departments.

Candela was founded in 2014 by Gustav Hasselskog. Determined to find ways to make electric boats with both range and speed, he gathered a task force consisting of some of the world's leading experts within dynamic modelling, hardware design, hydrodynamics, control theory, machine learning, image & signal processing, structural engineering and electrical machines.
The mission: to make an electric boat with better performance than the fossil fuel competitors.
At the end of 2016, a full-scale prototype was launched, reaching the target of more than 50 nautical miles per charge at a speed of 22 knots. In 2021 Candela launched their second model, Candela C8 of which they have received a lot of recognition.
