The Supply Chain and Operations function is responsible for purchasing, production, testing and validation, to ensure the right price, delivery time and quality of our products.
They ensure that processes, methods and tools are continuously developed and used in purchasing, material handling, quality, production technology and testing according to the Lean methodology, to secure Graniten leading position.
Graniten is a company in growth, and now the time has come to recruit a Material planner to our team.
So, do you want to become our first Material planner and further develop our working structure and processes for our material planning?
In your day-to-day work
You will coordinate the demand and capacity management according to our resource management structure.
As responsible for Material Planning, you ensure that Graniten has a balanced stock of critical long lead-time components so that we deliver according to our contracts.
Your main goal is to ensure that we have a balanced stock of long lead-time material in time for production. It also includes defining a strategic stock based on Graniten sales forecast and related product configurations.
At Graniten our co-workers take an active part in the development of internal methods and processes in accordance with Graniten strategy and our product range. Since this is a new role, you will have many possibilities to develop a solid working process for our Material planning and Capacity management.

You will work closely with the Sales team, the Project teams, our Supply and Operations team, so you need to enjoy co-operation and be a trustful partner towards your colleagues.
It is important that you can communicate in a clear way, both in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Personal qualifications:
- Bachelor or master's degree in science engineering and/or work experience within the field
- General engineering and financial understanding
- Swedish and English written and spoken
- Good knowledge in Office-package in general and Excel specifically
