Job description

The Material Manager is responsible for the local spare parts stock, ensuring all material requirements for the operational wind farms are met. Managing stock levels to meet demands and monitoring stock movements so that correct levels of stock are available at the service points, keeping the operational stock costs as low as possible. The Material Manager will work closely with Central Stock management by supporting the annual stock auditing processes and by reporting the counts for all service points.

Key accountabilities:
• Stock level control in area Scandinavia and Baltics
• Routine spare parts orders
• Spare parts transfers
• Material returns
• Main component orders
• Management of good receipts
• Point of contact for Central Warehouse
• Local tooling orders
• Minimum safety stock levels
• Delivery of parts to sites
• Stock taking and Audits
• Contact person for Central Warehouse
• Support for part identification
• Logistics and transportation
• Ordering of work wear and PPE equipment

Job requirements

Education and qualification:
• Spares Management / Logistics qualification or job experience in a similar position
• Driving licence
• Manual handling trained
• Technical knowledge, mechanical and electrical preferable
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Career / Job experience:
• Experienced in SAP with good IT skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Experienced in Spares Management and Logistics
• Health and Safety aware

Personal profile:
• Strong communication skills
• Team leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Strong customer focus
• Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home
• Computer literate, strong on SAP and Microsoft products
• Can work well in a team or autonomously
