The position is in the Base Material Polymer group. We strive to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in corporation with our suppliers, converting factories and package platforms. Your part in this will be to become a recognized global expert for polymers within Tetra Pak. You will interact with many highly professional global stakeholders - both internal and external. You will be based in Lund but be prepared to travel 30-50 days/year.
Your main responsibilities in this role include to:
• Drive cost & quality improvement projects with polymer suppliers
• Contribute with competence to support extrusion coating, injection moulding or film blowing process
• Translate system requirements to polymer specifications
• Monitor performance and drive corrective actions
• Drive food compliance activities towards our suppliers

However even though you can drive your projects independently you are also a good team player with an open attitude and with the ability to actively share your knowledge with others. We also value the talent to keep track of several parallel ongoing activities and being able to prioritise to use your time efficiently and still having control of the details. You are a clear communicator and excel at both spoken and written English.
We believe your educational background is a MSc degree in Chemistry or Material Sciences. You have at least 5 years of industrial experience, working with polymers in product development, production or processing. Practical experience of supplier development and quality performance assessment is an advantage. Other relevant background could be having worked with technical sales support.
