Materials Development Engineer R&D
Do you have experience in using equipment for analysis and characterization of materials? Do you like to interact with many different people and work with product development? If yes, and you like material science, especially in the area of steel, cemented carbide and PCD - this may be a job for you!
The R&D Materials Development team is responsible for research and development of materials for our products, mainly made of steel and cemented carbide. The team collaborates closely with other R&D teams, Production, Quality, Purchasing and Marketing. The team in Fagersta consists of 13 engineers and 6 technicians. Global collaboration occurs with other Epiroc units, other companies, institutes and Universities. Now we are searching for a new member to join this competence team in Fagersta, Sweden.

Your mission
To contribute to efficient and sustainable products for the company. You will play an important role, using your knowledge and a high focus will be on the product development. The team interacts closely with other functions and departments, both within Epiroc and externally. You may also act as supervisor from the company's side in collaborations with universities and institutes.

Your profile
To be successful in the role you must be curious, self-driven and have a passion for materials science. In this position you interact with many different people, therefore it is necessary that you are a team player. Your education is MSc in Materials Engineering or higher. Full proficiency in English both written and spoken, Swedish is an advantage. Great experience in using equipment for analysis and characterization of materials, especially cemented carbide and steel. Please describe in CV, level of skills for unique equipment's.
