hela Sverige As Material Controller within Procurement in Trollhättan, you will have the responsibility for the supply of production material and the inventory from a number of suppliers. You will be a part of the supplier teams and also work closely with production planning. You will participate in the development of tools and systems for logistics within purchasing.
Core Responsibilities:
For a number of suppliers, you are responsible for service level to production, inventory level before production and supplier delivery precision
Based on the production need of parts in the MRP system and needed buffers, you will set up and communicate delivery schedules for your suppliers
You will work proactively with your suppliers to secure their deliveries on short and long term.
You are responsible to give early warnings for potential supply problems and, in case of delinquency, work with the supplier to negotiate a recovery plan that is acceptable to production planning and customers
Analyze supplier capacity data to identify potential problems
Support the supplier to identify improvements of the manufacturing process
You will be involved in the inventory forecast process and work proactively with production planning to optimize buffers and lead times for your parts
Required Competencies:
Proven to be self directed, self motivated and able resolve competing priorities
Demonstrated team player
Communicative
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Swedish
Good computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
SAP experience
Ability to travel
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
• 5 years of related experience (Manufacturing, Logistics, Aerospace engine business)
Minimum Education Required:
MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Logsitics
