Holms Industri AB is a Swedish entity founded 1927, the main operation is located in Motala with a modern and efficient manufacturing. The company has a long industrial history in Sweden spanning from early days in horse shoes and spades to the current product portfolio of world class offerings within sweeping attachments, snow plows and sand spreading buckets. The company is on a strategic growth journey and this puts increased demands on efficient material management for the production as well as optimisation of material inventory. In order to reinforce the competence and take strategic steps in these areas we are now searching for a skilled, educated and driven person.
Basic tasks and daily work will be steering the material flow from suppliers via purchasing orders and monitoring of incoming deliveries. Strategic tasks and work will aim at reviewing, analysing and improving the entire set-up of incoming material flow, this is done in close co-operation with the purchasing manager, the production planner and the production engineers. The objectives are to optimise the approach towards tied capital in inventory, minimised risks in inventory obsolescence and secure material availability for the production and spare parts deliveries.
In addition, the job will involve tasks linked to internal material flow optimisation such as warehouse management, material feeding to the production and various investments in tools, soft and hard.
The job is based in Motala Sweden and you must be able to travel occasionally. You command written and spoken Swedish and English.
The role reports to the Production Director and to the Purchasing Manager
Din profil
The optimal candidate has a professional past/history in similar industrial material and inventory management. You have an adequate academic education and you can prove a successful track record from a similar role previously in your carrier. You are commercial driven, target oriented, highly focused and prepared to work hard to achieve results. At the same time, you are open minded, prestige less and social talented. You must be broad in your approach since the job spans from hands-on daily work with material steering to strategic planning for future success.
Alternative is a young candidate who is newly graduated from relevant university studies, who regard this opening an interesting challenge as a start of his/her professional career.
