We are looking for two master thesis students in control tower software development for autonomous transport systems during spring 2022, and you are welcome to apply today!
Your role as a master thesis student within autonomous transport systems
To achieve high safety and productivity in autonomous transport systems, an advanced and interactive site control system is needed. For that reason, we at Combitech are currently developing a modern control room application for monitoring autonomous assignment planning.
One important part of the functionality is a highly interactive map functionality. We would therefore like to see a master thesis consisting of developing an interactive map function for confined areas not covered by existing map providers, such as Google Maps. The application is hosted in a docker container, and the main programming language will be C#. However, students will have a high degree of freedom regarding the focus of the master thesis, and the project will be following an agile work approach.
Who are you?
We believe that you are in the final phase of your master program in Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar, where programming has been a significant part. You will need a good understanding in high level programming languages, object orientation, threading etc. to be able to fulfil the assignment.
We also value your personal skills, both because we want an open and rich company culture and since we offer a high degree of freedom regarding this master thesis.
