You will be working within Logistics Operations as a thesis worker with a great opportunity to influence BSH's future operations in Northern Europe in a highly international environment with stakeholders and colleagues across our global organization. Travel to Nykvarn is going to be required to analyze the current situation.
Responsibilities:
Understanding and optimizing pack-station workflow.
Analyze current situation
• Review layout
• Visualize in and out flow
• Draw current process steps
• Observe roles and executions
• List packaging material in used
Propose to be processes
• Layout design
• Balancing incoming and outgoing flow
• Improve process steps (maximize efficiency)
• Prepare roles and responsibility matrix
• Standardize and reduce variant packaging materials
Qualifications:
• A master student in logistics/industrial engineering
• Visio
• Proficient in English
