Now we are looking for a master thesis student within machine learning starting autumn 2019.
Project description
Title: Maintenance prediction of gas turbine components with machine learning of operational data.
At service of gas turbines some components are found to be starting to degrade and need to be replaced premature. At the same site there can be another gas turbine with almost same operational history but the same type of components seems to be in good condition.
The object is to find anomalies statistically and with machine learning in historical operational data (time series data) between gas turbines to identify why one machine must replace components and another is good to run.
These findings are then applied to the entire fleet to predict the correct service interval.
