R&D Sustaining's responsibility is to develop and improve our current Liko product portfolio. This means leading various projects with the goals of increasing customer satisfaction, increasing product quality, optimizing product design, and strengthening the competitiveness of our products. The engineers at R&D are a team of experts and support the production, quality department and other functions with their technical expertise and product knowledge.
Purpose
LikorallTM was developed in mid 90's and the cover consist of two aluminum parts and two end covers in plastic. Shape, color, material and design have not changed over the years.
Goals
Identify user needs, functional- and design requirements to a new cover for LikorallTM.
Design several concepts
Conduct concept evaluation
Present a CAD-model of the solution
Preferred to work in Solid Edge
Report
Estimated Duration and compensation
30 hp starting by agreement.
An economic compensation will be handed out after the thesis is complete.
