Who you are
About AL/departmentAlfa Laval develops products and drive strategic product issues through many product centers. Product Center for high speed separators in Tumba is responsible for research, product development, testing, project management, product management and product leadership.
We have a clear vision to create an expanded functionality of our mechanical separator with the help of sensor technology, signal processing and computer science.
About the Master thesisThis master thesis is to develop a method to implement machine learning and data analysis into our separator systems. Your role is to find out what algorithms are suitable for our machines. Make a real implantation in our hardware connected to the cloud for big data analysis.

Who are youYour character is to be curious about the combination of computer science and industrial machines. You understand Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, signal processing and central data analysis. You probably already have some ideas how to implement such a solution and are eager to make a real life working solution.
You have an overall view approach and a passion for taking your ideas to finish line.
You have a natural interest in new technology such as:
