Description
The purpose of the thesis work is to set up and evaluate the load and carry simulation of a Wheel loader (WL).
The WL model comprises an ADAMS multi-body simulation (MBS) model, a driver model, a hydraulic, and a powertrain model, etc. The driver model keeps the WL on target track while driving in an empty or a full bucket loading condition. In this thesis, the study needs to carry out the improvements in the driver model such that WL deviation from the target path represents a realistic behavior. Further, the obtained results should be compared with the forces collected using real sensor data from measurements. The thesis will be carried out in MATLAB using concepts such as Object Oriented Programming. Additionally, one can also get familiar with the complete vehicle simulation using ADAMS and Simulink.
Suitable Background: Mechanical Engineering or similar, applied mathematics, mechatronics, experience in Simulink and MATLAB.
