We are now looking for a new team member for The Master Data Management unit which is responsible for managing the master data component within Ericsson. Creating and maintaining accurate and complete master data is key to Ericssons business operations. It is used by several functions and stored in different systems across the organization which makes it complex. The MDM unit secures that Ericsson has a high-quality and consistent set of master data through an efficient master data handling process which is executed by the Service Delivery unit in Asia.
Responsibilities
The units responsibility is to manage and monitor the Master Data handling process which includes the following:
• Managing all master data process related issues
• Analyze and address maintenance process changes
• Identify efficiency improvements for maintenance processes
• Provide and maintain documentation for master data process, procedures and work instructions
• Monitor quality and way of working according to agreed processes
• Coordinate master data related system improvements
• Perform special maintenance of high-impact master data
• Support with expert competence for product, customer, vendor, service and/or finance master data
Required experience and skills
• Technical and/or business degree or equal work experience
• Very good general SAP knowledge and good special knowledge of at least one SAP module e.g. Material Master, Finance, Vendor Master, Customer Master, CRM etc.
• Experience of master data, preferably within Ericsson
• Analytical and good ability to handle data
• Fast learner
• Self driven and goal oriented
• Attention to detail but also able to understand the context and how different parts interact
• Structured in way of working and able to handle different tasks in a high pace and flexible environment
• Good written and spoken communication skills, i.e. both documentation and presentations for an audience
• Fluent in written and spoken English
