TheMaster Data Team is a newly established team in SKF, and is a part of the Data Management & Analysis department within SKF Group Demand Chain. This team will in the long run be responsible for all Demand Chain Master Data structures within SKF with the aim to have Master Data centrally defined, structured and governed, available for all SKF processes and applications.
This will be done through implementing common and global Master Data processes and governance; securing common and global Master Data definitions and structures; securing Master Data data quality through processes and audits. To achieve this we will also offer training and support with Master Data related content, structures, coding, and processes.

Inom SKF avdelningen Group Demand Chain är Master Data Team en ny grupp som har ett långsiktigt ansvar för Demand Chain Master Data. Vi söker dig som ska representera Group Demand Chain i samarbete med ett nytt ERP projekt som ska säkerställa framtida Master Data Management lösningar för SKF.
Du har helst högskoleutbildning och minst 5 års erfarenhet av Master Data Management.
Du har erfarenhet av ERP system, helst från större internationella företag.
Om du har erfarenhet av SAP kan det bli till nytta.
Du talar och skriver obehindrat på engelska.
Du är kvalitetsmedveten och väl medveten om att vara noggrann.
Du tänker strategiskt, kan samordna grupper och följa upp arbetet.
Job description
You will be involved in establishing the new Master Data department and have a leading role in the ERP transition project safeguarding the business requirements and SKF overall strategy alignment.
Your main responsibility area will be to represent Demand Chain and the business needs in the new ERP project, securing the future Master Data Management solution for SKF. This will involve a close cooperation with the ERP Master Data team that is being formed within the ERP project organization. At the end of the ERP project, our Master Data team will be the owner of and responsible for the Master Data Management developed within the ERP project.
Also you will be closely involved in the further development of our department and the existing master data setup to support the business during the transition period.
You will also be responsible for part of the existing Master Data objects that the Master Data team has already taken over the governance for. This is an excellent way of increasing your knowledgebase of the whole SKF business and also to broaden your SKF network as we will interact with all Demand Chain processes.
You will be required to act as a representative for the Master Data Management concept towards the entire SKF community, and as such actively work on anchoring the understanding of the importance of the Master Data discipline. You will also be part of the Governance body as a member of the Master Data PDT and Master Data user reference groups.

Key responsibilities
• Secure that the Master Data development in the ERP project is aligned with SKF business strategies and processes and that ownership stays within our organization during the transition period.
• Secure quality in current Master Data structures, as well as during the ERP transition period (co-existence) and in the final ERP solution.
• Take part in communicating and anchoring the Master Data Management concept within SKF.
• Take part in the development of the Master Data Management team.
• Take part in forming the Master Data strategic direction.
• To manage change and challenge existing structures and mindsets.
Competencies required
• Experienced in the Master Data Management field (minimum 5 years).
• Good understanding of Master Data Management key principles such as governance, structures, modeling and definitions.
• Analytical, structured and planning skills.
• Result oriented and self driven.
• A good and open communicator, with an enthusiastic and collaborative approach.
• Ability to work in a complex change management environment handling the uncertainty and challenges this includes.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience from working with an ERP system Master Data Management tool and/or working in an ERP transition project is an advantage.
• An Academic degree focusing on Master Data Management, or equivalent experience, is an advantage.
