Skånes Djurpark is one of the region's premier leisure attractions, passionate about creating experiences connecting people, animals and nature. We're now looking for a driven Marketing Team Manager to bring experience and facilitate more guests discovering Skånes Djurpark and help us toward becoming a two-day destination.

What's the challenge?
The park has a rich history and a bright future ahead. We have ambitious growth plans to welcome more guests than ever before - at our park, but also at our Glamping locations. That target will be achieved by adding new and exciting experiences to the zoo, but also by really stepping up our marketing. 'Bigger, better and bolder' is the best way to describe our marketing approach for the next few years. And we would love for you to be a part of that, helping drive our success.

What does the Marketing Team Manager do?

Your marketing responsibility is pretty much full circle. You develop the annual marketing plan, get the plan (and required resources) approved, and then ensure it is executed brilliantly. And of course, if circumstances change, you adapt the plan instantly to make sure the park is fulfilling its potential regardless of the circumstances - while keeping your stakeholders closely involved. This includes:

• Being responsible for the end-to-end management of some of our biggest and most important marketing campaigns. You will support and facilitate the team members that run the smaller campaigns.
• All guest communications are managed by you. Whether it is a phone call, email or social media comment, you ensure that our guests get the highest quality guest service - provided by our Guest Stars.
• You will be accountable for all ticketing and glamping revenue, and for all marketing and sales expenditure.

The majority of your work is tactical and operational, but of course you will provide strategic input to the CEO and marketing lead when it comes to the multi-year plan for the resort.

Our guests are our number one priority, which means that you are always ready to answer the phone or reply to guests' emails when the need arises.

Who are you?
You know what you are talking about when it comes to marketing. We are looking not just for book smart, but street smart. You've done (most of) it before. And are looking to push yourself professionally and personally, to hone your craft even further.
Bonus points if you've worked in leisure or tourism before, or sold intangible products such as services or experiences.
You've managed a team before, and knows what it means to achieve results through others.
You are an expert communicator. Within your own team, the wider team, other divisions of the company but also our wide range of stakeholders. As we are an international organisation, you can work your Slack / Google Meet / email / phone magic to keep anyone up-to-date and on the same page without having to get them in the same room.
Getting things done is in your nature. You are a self-starter, energetic, and love ticking things off your to do list. You also know how to get things done with the help of the amazing marketing team.
You're a superstar in Swedish and in English.
You will be there when your guests and your colleagues need you. And because we are a 24/7 company, that means you will work the occasional evening or weekend if that is what it takes to meet your goals.

Practical information about the position:
Full-time position with immediate start or in line with agreement
Permanent position
Work during evenings and weekends may occur when there are bigger launches or other events
