The position is reporting to VP Marketing. Main responsibility is to drive the holistic strategic planning & marketing transformation across teams. This role drives productive and effective internal improvements resulting from operating model changes and enhancements, and strategic improvements. The position can be based in Jonsered just outside Gothenburg or flexible.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual marketing strategy process
• Cross-functionally support marketing functions with strategy development
• Responsible for transformation roadmaps to ensure strategy and implementation remain aligned
• Identify areas where improvements can be made

• Research industry trends
• Conduct business intelligent research & analysis
• Prepare reports on strategy ideas for senior management
• Present research findings to senior management
• Assess marketing metrics to gauge the success of new strategies
• Optimize marketing investments
• Research competition to identify threats and opportunities
• Assess the marketing's operational and strategic performance
• Align processes, resources-planning and marketing goals
• Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes

Preferred qualifications

• Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities
• Deep understanding of customer needs and user experience
• Self-starter with strong drive and sense of urgency
• Strong business acumen
• Solid experience from change management processes
• Solution oriented, enjoy finding ways to overcome 'roadblocks'
• Leadership skills with proven capabilities to manage and influence multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills & good team player
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must

Specific/critical education, experiences & knowledge

• 10+ years' experience from a similar position at a marketing department, in-house agency or advertising agency
• Master degree in Business, Advertising and Marketing, Economics or equivalent
